From history to now

I was commissioned to build a 1:50 scale model of The Pop-up Globe Theatre based in New Zealand. The Pop-up Globe is the world’s first full-scale temporary working replica of one of the greatest theatres in history, the second Globe.

This theatre is constructed out of scaffolding which made the model build challenging.

While making the model I was also asked to design the frons (scenery), lords and ladies rooms and ceiling.

I drew up blue prints and went on to help build and paint the frons and props, and the ceiling.
